Supervision
I aim to create a safe and courageous supervision space in which you feel supported to engage in reflective practice, to explore and develop your own authentic style as a clinician, to unpack and find a way forward through the stickiest and trickiest parts of the work we do, and to develop a greater understanding of what you need to both sustain and enjoy your work in the eating disorder space.
I have had the great privilege of receiving regular dietetic and psychology supervision since my first week of practice as a new graduate dietitian stepping straight into the eating disorder space full time, and continue to do so many years later. The learning, personal and professional growth and wellbeing support that this supervision offers has been invaluable for my confidence working in the special interest areas I am passionate about, my effectiveness as a clinician, the richness and quality of therapeutic relationships I can build with my clients, as well as my ability to care for myself working in what can be an intense and yet incredibly rewarding space.
My current work spans across dietetic assessment, supervision, consultation, education and service development in the public eating disorders sector, as well as private practice in which my caseload predominantly spans across all forms of eating/feeding disorders and disorders of gut-brain interaction. My approach is heavily informed by client-centred, trauma-informed, non-diet and neurodiversity affirming care, as well as polyvagal theory.
Supervision Availability
I am offering individual supervision (minimum 6 months) for early career dietitians and those with 5 years or less experience working with eating disorders and/or disorders of gut-brain interaction.
